How We Got Here
Look, we didn't start out trying to be Vancouver's go-to shop for performance work. It kinda just... happened.
Back in 2014, our founder Marcus was basically living in his garage, tuning his own Subaru for weekend mountain runs. Friends started showing up with their rides, asking if he could work the same magic. One thing led to another, and before you know it, we had a full shop and a waiting list.
What makes us different? We're drivers first, mechanics second. Every member of our team actually takes their personal vehicles up to the mountains regularly. We get what high-altitude does to your engine because we've been there, felt the power loss, and figured out how to fix it.
The Beginning
Started in a 2-bay garage with nothing but a dream and way too much caffeine. Our first customer? Marcus's neighbor who brought over a Honda Civic that "just didn't feel right."
ASE Certified
Got our ASE Master Technician certification. Turned out knowing your stuff on paper actually matters when you're trying to convince insurance companies you're legit.
Expansion Time
Moved to our current spot on Mountain View Drive - bigger bays, better equipment, and yeah, an actual break room. Added three more techs who actually know what they're doing.
Performance Specialization
Officially became the only shop in Vancouver with a high-altitude dyno setup. Now we could tune your ride for both sea level and mountain passes without guessing.
Going Electric
Added EV diagnostics and performance tuning to our services. Turns out electric motors need love too, and we're here for it.
Still Growing
11 years in and we're still learning new tricks. Just brought on our first apprentice who's probably better at diagnostics than most of us already. The future looks pretty solid.
